A to Z Wineworks Pinot Noir Selected as a Top 100 Wine by Wine Spectator
NEWBERG, Ore – November 25, 2013 — Wine Spectator selected the 2011 A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir as #55 of the Top 100 wines of 2013 and it is the most available wine on the list. A to Z Wineworks, launched in 2002, is still run by the four founding friends and Oregon industry veterans, who grew the winery to be one of the largest in Oregon by offering quality Oregon wines for superior values.
Founder and Director of Viticulture & Winemaking, Sam Tannahill, states, “We are thrilled that our single, 136,000 case cuvee of A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir was honored by Wine Spectator as one of the top 100 wines of 2013. The Top 100 recognition can only help buoy the entire Oregon wine industry.”
With more Oregon winemaking experience than any other winery and working with more than 60 vineyards every year, the group consistently delivers “Aristocratic Wines at Democratic Prices.” This is the second time that A to Z Wineworks Oregon Pinot Noir has been named to the coveted Wine Spectator Top 100 list; the 2008 A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir was named a Top 100 wine of 2010. A to Z wines illustrate the balance, complexity and quality made possible through blending and embody the Essence of Oregon.
