A to Z Wineworks is built on the belief that great wine should bring people together. Since 2002, we’ve crafted vibrant, approachable Oregon wines that offer consistent quality and a warm welcome to every kind of wine drinker. We are proud to be the first Oregon—and at the time, only—winery to earn Certified B Corporation status in 2014, and the first Oregon winery to join International Wineries for Climate Action, reflecting our deep commitment to meaningful climate action and industry progress. This dedication to responsible practices is matched by a long record of award‑winning wines celebrated for exceptional value and drinkability. At A to Z, we invite everyone to choose GOOD: good wine, good fun, and doing good for our planet and our people by raising a glass to the moments that connect us.
The A to Z Story
A to Z Wineworks was started in 2002 by Oregon wine industry veterans: Deb Hatcher (Eyrie), Bill Hatcher (Domaine Drouhin Oregon), Sam Tannahill (Archery Summit) and Cheryl Francis (Chehalem) who wanted to create high-quality wine to offer at a great value. The inaugural blend was honored by Food & Wine magazine as the Best American Pinot Noir under $20. Over the years, the company’s wine portfolio has grown, transforming A to Z into a leader in the industry.
Our Commitment Our goal at A to Z is to leave the world better than we found it. As a B Corporation, we are committed to doing business with intention. A to Z has worked with more than 100 vineyards across the state, always encouraging sustainability. As we grow, we can devote more resources to doing good.
